How do cups feel?

-there is a range of different feels, its like a chiropractic adjustment where its one of those things that once you try its easier to understand
-that being said, most people feel like it can range from soothing, warming and sometimes itching(due to the histamine release)
-the main thing, cupping SHOULD NOT HURT.

What are the marks? Are they bruises?

- as discussed in our previous blog, cupping works on 3 different areas. The marks are a sign of interstitial debris(like from old blood) Cups work on releasing waste materials.

How often can you get cupping?

- for lymphatic cupping, the body needs at least 48 hours rest.
- cupping can help with pain and increase range of motion so you might be tempted to get it done all the time because you feel so good! But, the area may be sue sensitive to do it immediately again.

How does cupping affect the integumentary system?

-stimulares superficial circulation, supports temperature regulation and can desensitise superficial pain patterns.

How can cupping affect the cardiovascular system?

-promotes circulation(dilation of vessels)
-encourage venous return
-influences body temperature

How can cupping affect the muscle system?

- encourage blood flow within the muscles
-promotes lengething of the tight muscles
-encourage lymph movement
-promotes muscle recovery
