Did you know that fat, not carbohydrates, are the preferred fuel source of the body?

Did you know that older people who fill their plates with carbohydrates are nearly 4 times, yes 4 times, more at risk of developing mild cognitive impairment 

Those who have diets with high levels of healthy fats are 42% less likely to experience cognitive impairment 

Those whose diets had chicken, meat and fish had a reduced risk of 21%. 

Another research into foods and cognitive ability found the following

Butter eaters had no significant risk for dementia BUT those who had omega 3 oils like olive, flaxseed and walnut oil had 60% less likelihood of dementia 

Fats are so essential that also help the following organs:
- Heart muscle for nourishment 
- Bones for assimilation of calcium
- Liver can clear out toxins 
_Brain, saturated fats can even tell your brain you are full 

Every cell in you body requires saturated fats, they comprise of 50% of the cellular membrane
